Three sports, scored properly
Each sport has its own rules engine rather than a shared scoreboard, so
the details that usually get fudged are handled correctly.
Cricket
Limited-overs scoring that handles the awkward parts properly, not just runs and wickets.
All 14 dismissal types, mankad and retirements included
Wides, no-balls, byes and leg-byes charged correctly
Wagon wheel, Manhattan, worm and run-rate charts
Ball-by-ball commentary, partnerships and net run rate
Undo any ball, or edit one you got wrong
Football
A live clock that keeps running, through extra time and into a shootout.
Goals, cards, subs, shots, fouls, corners and offsides
Configurable periods, extra time and penalty shootouts
Pause, resume or correct the clock mid-match
Per-team stats and a full match timeline
Casual sizes down to 1v1
Badminton
One tap per rally. The app works out who serves next, and from which court.
BWF rally scoring: best of 3 to 21, win by 2, cap at 30
Singles and doubles, including the doubles service rotation
Configurable games, target points and cap
Game-by-game scoresheet with the full rally ladder
Ad-hoc pairs — no squad needed
Built sport-generically, so more sports can be added without rebuilding
how matches, teams and tournaments work.
Everything, for nothing
Not a trial, not a free tier. Every feature below is available to
everyone from the first tap.
Ball-by-ball scoring
A keypad built for one-handed scoring at the boundary rope. Every delivery, card or rally is an event you can undo.
Live streaming built in
Broadcast from your phone's camera with the score on screen. Viewers watch in the app, and one person can host and score at once.
Scores that update instantly
Followers see every ball as it happens over a live connection — no refreshing, no polling, no waiting.
Tournaments that run themselves
Leagues, knockouts or groups into a bracket. Fixtures generate automatically and points tables update as results land.
A career record per player
Batting, bowling and fielding figures, goals and assists, rally stats — kept per sport on one profile.
Free, and actually free
Every feature, for everyone. No ads, no subscription, no locked screens, nothing to buy inside the app.
How it works
1
Pick a sport and set up the match
Choose the teams or players, the format, and who is playing. Squads, ad-hoc pairs and one-on-ones are all fine.
2
Score it as it happens
One tap per ball, per rally, per goal. Go live from the same phone if you want an audience watching along.
3
Keep the record
Scorecards, charts and career stats are saved automatically, and tournament tables update as results come in.
A look inside
Real screens from the app, not mock-ups.
Every match you are part of, live ones first
A live match, updating ball by ball
Full scorecard with strike rates and dismissals
Wagon wheel, from shots tagged as you score
All 14 ways a batter can be out
A career record kept per sport
Questions
Is GamesFolio free?
Yes — completely. Every feature is available to everyone, with no ads, no subscription and nothing to buy inside the app.
Which sports can I score?
Cricket, football and badminton today. The app is built sport-generically, so more sports can be added without rebuilding how matches work.
Can I live stream a match?
Yes. The host broadcasts from their phone camera and viewers watch inside the app with the live score overlaid. One person can broadcast and score from the same device. Streams are in-app only — there is no YouTube or web playback, and streams are not recorded.
Do all the players need to sign up?
No. You can add guest players by name, so casual teammates appear on scorecards without creating an account. Only the person scoring needs to sign in.
Does scoring work without internet?
Not yet. Scoring is online-only today so that the score stays authoritative and everyone watching sees the same thing. Offline scoring is planned.
What cricket formats are supported?
Limited-overs matches, with configurable overs per innings and per bowler, ball type, and how wides and no-balls are scored. Other formats are modelled in the backend but not yet exposed in the app.
Can I run a whole tournament?
Yes — as a league, a knockout, or groups feeding a knockout bracket. Fixtures are generated for you, points tables update as matches finish, and the bracket advances on results.
How do I sign in?
With Google. It is the only sign-in method at the moment, which keeps setup to a single tap.
